Are you a relatively new user to the internet? Are you sometimes frustrated when you find some great information only not to be able to find it again a day later as the website is difficult to search and you cannot retrace your steps?
If your answer is yes to these questions, then we've put together a quick list of some of the tools we've used to help you look round our website and access all the information and support contained within.
Ease of use and navigation is important to us so that all our web visitors and regular users get the most from our service. Please contact us if you experience any difficulties as we would want to remedy them as quickly as possible.
Site map: This provides a useful guide to all the contents on our site. It's a bit like an index page of a book and you can use it to jump directly to your areas of interest. You can access the site map at the bottom of each web page.
Page Tabs: These run along the top and down the left hand side on various pages. Click on a tab and you will either be taken straight to that page or have a drop down box of options from which to choose.
Home: Click on this from wherever you are in our website and it will take you back to the front of page of our website ie the home page
Breadcrumb trail: You'll find this at the top right hand corner just above the main content on each page. It shows you the route you have taken to get to the page you are currently viewing.
Highlighted/Underlined text: In the main page content you will sometimes see highlighted or underlined words. If you click on these you will be taken to another page which will provide more detail on that subject. By using the breadcrumb trail or your back arrow key you can return to the page you were originally reading.
Printable version: Click on this icon in the top right hand corner and the page you are viewing will be printed in a printer friendly format without the images to save on your printer ink.
Email a friend: This is really useful if you want to share some information of specific interest and relevance with a friend. You can just enter in their email details and that specific page will be forwarded on so that they can see exactly the same material you are viewing. Your friend will then be able to go on and view the website from the forwarded page.
Hope these quick user tips are useful and that you love using and sharing our site. Be sure to contact us if there's anything else you need.
