Not a day goes by without some gloomy story about the economy and state of the UK job market hitting the headlines only to be repeated over and over again throughout the day.
This continual and repetitive negativity can be very de-motivating for even the most positive thinking of job hunters.
How, therefore, should you plan and succeed in returning to work in such a climate. With all the negativity in the press, you might be feeling deflated before you even get started. How can you stay positive and focused about returning to work?
You may have been out of the job market for a number of years and feel unsure about your work prospects and value to potential employers. You may be on maternity leave currently but want to change to a more family friendly job but not sure how. With all the redundancy announcements you might be wary about the number of applicants applying for the advertised jobs and your chances of success.
